Chris Madden

Chris is one of the founding partners with Tamarack North Ltd, founded in 1990. He is a graduate of Ryerson with a degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as graduate studies at the University of Toronto. He is a licensed Professional Engineer with previous experience in the Heating and Aerospace Industry.

Home building has been and remains a passion for Chris, from start to finish and everything in between. Chris has lived in the Parry Sound/ Muskoka area since 1976 and when not spending his leisure time motorcycling or snowmobiling throughout North America, can be found building his own seasonal residences or boating in the 30,000 islands of Georgian Bay with his family.


Jake Morrice

Jake Morrice

Jake Morrice is a graduate of the University of Waterloo Civil Engineering program and is a licensed Professional Engineer. He came to Tamarack after gaining valuable experience in the commercial construction industry in the Greater Toronto Area. Jake joined Tamarack in the summer of 2000. Additional qualifications include BCIN certification and septic designer qualifications.

As a Senior Project Manager, Jake brings his varied construction experience, communication skills and design ability, as well as a passion for construction and residential construction in particular.


Suzanne Eagleson

Suzanne Pedersen (Eagleson)

Suzanne has been the Office Manager and Controller with Tamarack since 2007. She graduated from McMaster University with a Medical Science Degree and after years of working in the Private Sector’s Administrative Field in Toronto, she moved to Muskoka.

Suzanne brings her strong accounting skills in managing multi-million dollar budgets to the table. With her exceptional people skills, she is able to manage the Human Resources and Financials of this fast paced company. Her attention to detail enables Tamarack to fully utilize its powerful accounting software, Timberline.


Shannon Taylor

Shannon Taylor

Born and raised in Muskoka, Shannon is proud to be a fourth generation resident at the north end of beautiful Lake Joseph. Shannon studied Retail and Hospitality and Tourism Management at Ryerson University in Toronto and graduated with honours from the three year Tourism Management Program at Georgian College in Barrie.

Shannon has been the Office Coordinator since early 2011 and applies her organizational and human resource skills to her work.


Dave Cluett

Dave Cluett

Dave Cluett started with Tamarack in 2003 in an estimating role and gradually moved into the project management role. Prior to 1990 Dave worked in Southern Ontario holding positions in the aerospace and nuclear industries where he honed his skills in that highly meticulous work environment. The lure of the lakes, forests and natural beauty of Muskoka brought Dave and his family to Muskoka in 1988.

Prior to joining Tamarack Dave developed his construction knowledge working on many high profile large commercial construction projects such as Disney World Florida, Disney Hotels in Florida, Universal Studios Theme Park, and Las Vegas Casinos and Hotels, and Municipal Court Houses. Dave specialized in coordinating construction of themed façades and store fixtures. Dave in his previous employ was  chosen to be recognized by the Association of Building Contractors of Florida for his work on Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Hotel Atrium and the Osceola County Courthouse.

Dave’s many years spent working on highly specialized construction projects makes him well suited to attend to the construction of a broad array unique and highly stylized luxury summer residences which dot the beautiful Muskoka Landscape. Dave is married with two children and is an active volunteer with youth in Muskoka and when he has the time enjoys nordic skiing, sailing, golf, hockey and keeping his wife’s old Italian sports car in pristine condition for touring through Muskoka.

Seth Harder

Seth Harder

Seth Harder came to Tamarack North in 2006 with an Advanced Diploma in Construction Engineering Technology from Niagara College.

He has successfully studied Sewage Systems and Small Buildings under the Ontario Building Code. As a current member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technologist and Technicians (OACETT), Seth has been actively pursuing his Professional Designation as a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET).

As a Project Manager with Tamarack, Seth brings not only excellent mathematical, communication, and mediation skills, but also his ardor for facilitating the building process.


Mike Archambault

Mike Archambault

Michael Archambault has been a part of the Tamarack family since 2007. He came to the company with an Advanced Diploma in Construction Engineering Technology (Architecture) from Niagara College.

As a Project Manager, Michael brings his strong drafting skills in AutoCad to the table including the ability to generate three‐dimensional construction details. Additional responsibilities include permit submissions, subtrade control and quantity estimating for materials.


Corey Lasso

Corey Lasso

Corey started his career at Tamarack North in the spring of 2012. He came to the company directly after graduating with an Advanced Diploma in Architectural Construction Engineering Technology from Conestoga College.

As a past Project Manager for a high end renovator, Corey brings with him his strong interpersonal skills, leadership skills and construction knowledge to the company. He is certified under the Ontario Building Code and looks forward to continuinghis certifications, and broadening his construction knowledge.

Corey enjoys spending his down time at the cottage with family and friends. He can be seen on weekends fishing in the morning and crossing the lake on a sea doo in the afternoon.


Rob Zingel

Rob Zingel

Rob Zingel is a Professional Engineer with a degree from University of Toronto and an MBA from Schulich. He prepares detailed estimates and budgets for Tamarack North’s construction projects, as well as client proposals and contracts.

Rob hails from Toronto where his professional career focused in the aerospace industry. He provides a strong technical, planning and design background and is intimate with the cottage experience in Muskoka. He and his family moved to Huntsville full time in 2002 and he has been with Tamarack since 2007.

Rob’s favorite activities include canoe tripping, biking, x-country skiing, exploring  cultures and the art of the world.
